Trust

“I am so weak that I can hardly write, I cannot read my Bible, I cannot even pray, I can only lie still in God’s arms like a little child, and trust.” Hudson Taylor

When was the last time you were at a point in your life when you felt like this – completely surrounded by problems and you wanted to quit, when you said “this is hopeless – I give up.”

Those are the times, even if it seems like God is not hearing or answering our prayers, He simply wants us to trust Him!  “Trust me – I can take care of you.” God

To trust God completely is one of the hardest things to do.  We don’t trust that easily for many reasons.  There are times when we don’t doubt, but there are many times when we do.  There are times when we feel so close to God, then there are times when God seems so far away.

You may feel small and insignificant and overwhelmed by problems in this world, but in God’s eyes, you are everything to Him! And He will not let you down!

Luke 12:6-7: “What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” NLT

Birds are God’s creatures – you are God’s child! So: Psalm 62:8 – “…trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.” NLT
